First Motors and Genesis Middle East Donated Eight GV60 Electric to Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior
First Motors, the official distributor of Genesis in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Alzayani Investments, in collaboration with Genesis Middle East, has donated eight Genesis GV60 electric vehicles to the Ministry of Interior. The donation aimed to provide vehicles capable of functioning as secondary power sources during emergencies.
This collaboration sought to enhance emergency response readiness by introducing advanced electric mobility solutions that provide reliable support during crises, including power outages and fuel shortages. It also reflected national solidarity and appreciation for the unwavering courage and commitment demonstrated by the Ministry of Interior in serving and safeguarding the Kingdom of Bahrain during the previous challenges.
The Genesis GV60 electric vehicle features modern bi-directional charging technology, enabling the vehicle to operate as an additional power source during emergencies. This capability helps ensure that critical devices and equipment remain operational even when primary power infrastructure is disrupted.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Rashid Zayed Alzayani, Managing Director of First Motors, stated: "At First Motors, a proud subsidiary of Alzayani Investments Group, we are honoured to collaborate with Genesis Middle East to support the efforts of the Ministry of Interior with world-class electric vehicles such as the Genesis GV60. This donation is a testament to our deep appreciation for their courage and commitment during difficult times."
Mr. Omar AlZubaidi, Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Middle East, commented: "Genesis is honoured to stand alongside First Motors in supporting the great efforts of the Ministry of Interior through the donation of the Genesis GV60 electric vehicles.”
